Students, staff and families of NDCA strive to help others in a variety of ways. 

• Our students support a child at Mully Children’s Family home in Ndalani, Kenya and for a number of years have collected school supplies and funds for MCF. Students, staff and board members have travelled to Kenya to distribute the school supplies and provide assistance at the orphanage.
• In 2008, our students collected over $ 2000 to send to relief efforts for displaced persons in Kenya.
• Every year, each class prepares a number of “shoe boxes” as part of the internationally recognized Operation Christmas Child project.  These boxes are distributed to needy children around the world.
• School supplies have been sent to needy students in Haiti.
• For over 25 years, NDCA students have participated in Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart sponsorship programs to provide funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Our students have raised over $80 000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation since beginning this program.
• Over the school years, students have contributed to tsunami and hurricane relief funds
• Yearly contributions are made to local food banks
